Please read these terms carefully before using our domestic helper recruitment services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the ChooseYourMaid website and services provided by Achieve Employment LLP, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
2. Service Description
Achieve Employment LLP operates as a licensed employment agency in Singapore, specializing in domestic helper recruitment from Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
Our Services Include:
- • Recruitment and placement of domestic helpers
- • Biodata creation and profile management
- • Skills assessment and training coordination
- • Documentation and permit processing assistance
- • Ongoing support during employment
- • Referral program management
3. User Obligations
For Domestic Helper Applicants:
- • Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications and documentation
- • Complete medical examinations and obtain necessary certifications
- • Comply with Singapore's employment laws and regulations
- • Maintain professional conduct with employers and agency staff
- • Inform the agency of any changes in personal circumstances
- • Pay applicable fees as outlined in the fee structure
4. Service Fees and Payment Terms
Philippines
No service fee from Singapore agent. Embassy processing fees payable separately in Manila.
Indonesia
Service fee equivalent to 2 months of agreed salary.
Myanmar
Service fee equivalent to 2 months of agreed salary.
Additional Fees:
- • Biodata creation fee: $20 (waivable with promotional codes)
- • Medical examination and certification fees
- • Documentation and permit processing fees
- • Training and orientation program fees (where applicable)
5. Referral Program
Our referral program rewards existing users for successful referrals. A referral is considered "successful" when the referred person is successfully placed in employment.
Referral Terms:
- • Reward amount: $50 per successful placement
- • Payment processed within 30 days of placement confirmation
- • Referrer must be in good standing with the agency
- • Rewards are subject to applicable taxes
6. Agency Responsibilities and Limitations
We Commit To:
- • Operate in compliance with MOM regulations
- • Provide accurate job matching services
- • Maintain confidentiality of personal information
- • Offer support during the placement process
- • Process applications fairly and professionally
Limitations:
- • We cannot guarantee job placement success
- • Employment terms are between employer and employee
- • We are not liable for workplace disputes
- • Medical fitness and permit approval are subject to government decisions
7. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service agreement with proper notice. Termination conditions include:
- • Breach of terms and conditions
- • Provision of false or misleading information
- • Failure to meet medical or legal requirements
- • Non-payment of applicable fees
- • Misconduct or unprofessional behavior
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:
- 1. Direct negotiation between the parties
- 2. Mediation through approved dispute resolution services
- 3. Arbitration in accordance with Singapore law
- 4. Legal proceedings in Singapore courts as a last resort
9. Legal Compliance
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Achieve Employment LLP operates under MOM licence 12C5848 and complies with all applicable employment agency regulations. Users must also comply with their home country's emigration laws and Singapore's immigration requirements.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
